Who Can Receive Meals On Wheels?

​Anyone can refer a client to Meals on Wheels including family members, friends, a Hospital, GP, Rehab Facility, Community Nurse, Dietitian, Law Enforcement Agency, etc.  You can even refer yourself.  There are no waiting lists, no means testing and absolutely no contracts.
To receive meals at a subsidised cost you need to be on a full or part disability or aged pension. Carers are often eligible as well.

A three course meal usually ranges from between $7.50 to $13.00 including delivery. This is a subsidised rate, kept low by a contribution made available by the federal government.
